I'm a Ph.D. candidate in the Sontheimer Lab at the University of Virginia, where I use a mouse model of epilepsy to study how non-cellular matrix components of the brain change following status epilepticus.

Science education and outreach are very near and dear to my heart. Although I've tried to involve myself in as much as I can throughout my graduate career, I would love the opportunity, privilege, and responsibility to make outreach and education my job.
