I'm a Ph.D. candidate in the Sontheimer Lab at the University of Virginia, where I use a mouse model of epilepsy to study how non-cellular matrix components of the brain change following status epilepticus.

Science education and outreach are very near and dear to my heart. I have involved myself in as much as I can throughout my graduate career, but I would welcome the opportunity, privilege, and responsibility to make outreach and education my job.
